TalentLMS lets you prevent registrations on a portal (or branch) from users with email accounts related to specific domains. For example, if you only want your users to register to TalentLMS using their work email, you can prevent registration from other accounts.
To configure registration restrictions:
A. For your main site
- Sign in to your TalentLMS account as an Administrator.
- Go to Home > Account & Settings.
- In the Security section, check Restrict registration to specific domains (1).
- In the field that appears, add a comma-separated list of domains to reject all registrations from, using a ~ symbol in front of each domain (e.g., ~domain.com, ~example.com).
B. On a single branch
- Sign in to your TalentLMS account as an Administrator.
- Go to Home > Branches.
- Click your preferred branch.
- In the Users section of the Info tab, check Restrict registration to specific domains (2).
- In the respective field, add a comma-separated list of domains to reject all registrations from, using a ~ symbol in front of each domain (e.g., ~domain.com, ~example.com).
Instead of preventing registration from specific domains, you can opt to allow registration only from specific domains. To do that, please look at this article.
Note: You can either allow registrations from specific domains or prevent registrations from specific domains, but not both at the same time. |
