When using the TalentLMS Import feature, you can import CSV files to add users, courses, branches and groups. This CSV format needs to be converted to UTF-8 to be successful, so here are some steps for how to save your CSV file to UTF-8.
Microsoft Excel
1. When ready to save your file click Save as (1).
2. You will be shown the file dialog, where you can select the format you want to save your file in.
Select CSV UTF-8 (Comma delimited) from the dropdown menu (2), and then click Save.
MacOS Numbers app
1. In the Numbers menu bar, click File > Export To and select CSV (1).
2. A new pop-up window will let the user select the file's encoding format, select Unicode (UTF-8) (2) and click Next (3).
