When using the Import feature, you can use .csv files to add users, courses, branches, and groups to your TalentLMS portal. Your .csv file needs to be saved as UTF-8 for the import to be successful.
Here's how you can save your .csv file as UTF-8:
Microsoft Excel
1. When ready to save your file click Save as (1).
2. You will see the file dialog box, where you can select the format you want to save your file in. Select CSV UTF-8 (Comma delimited) from the dropdown menu (2), and then click Save.
MacOS Numbers app
1. In the Numbers menu bar, click File > Export To and select CSV (1).
2. A new pop-up window will let you select the file's encoding format. Select Unicode (UTF-8) (2) and click Next (3).
