The TalentLMS Discussions is a forum-like communication tool that can also be embedded in your courses as a content unit. To enhance your discussions, TalentLMS lets you attach external files to a topic.
Here’s how:
1. Sign in to your TalentLMS account as Instructor and click Add discussion on the right-hand panel.
2. On the dialog box that pops up, name (1) your new discussion topic, describe it to your users (2), and choose which users can participate (3).
3. Then, click Select attachment (4) and upload a file up to 20 MB in one of the following formats: ppt, pptx, doc, docx, pdf, gif, jpg, jpeg, png, mp4, webm, ogg, ogv, avi, mpeg, mpg, mov, wmv, 3gp, flv, mp3, aac, ogg, wav, mpeg, webm, wave, wav, wma, ra, aif, aiff.
Note: You can attach one file to each topic. |
Users that participate in your new discussion can either view your attachment online or download it (5). If they want, they can also attach files to their replies (6).
