Discussions in TalentLMS are a forum-like communication tool that can be embedded within your courses as part of your course content. To enhance your discussions, TalentLMS lets you attach external files to your topics.
Here’s how:
1. Sign in to your TalentLMS account as an Instructor.
2. Go to the Discussions (1) page from the toolbar at the top right side of your screen, next to your profile image, and then click Add discussion (2).

3. On the New discussion page, select an audience for your new topic and type a title and description to encourage discussion.
4. Finally, upload an external file to attach to your message (3). Users who reply to the topic can also add attachments. The maximum file size for attachments is 20MB.
5. Click Post to publish your new discussion.
Note: You can attach one file per discussion topic. You can attach more files in the comments (one file per comment). |
Users who participate in your new discussion can either view your attachment online or download it (1), and they can also attach files to their replies (2).
