Micro-stats bars are available in all reports for quick access to a set of details on learning activity.
Here’s how you can view the micro-stats:
A. As an Administrator
1. Sign in to your TalentLMS account as Administrator and go to Home > Reports.
2. On the right-hand panel, click User reports.
3. On this page, you can see the micro-stats for your learners:
- learners: this tab shows the number of all registered users (both with active and inactive status).
- course assignments: refers to the total number of course assignments to any active or inactive user.
- completed courses: are all courses with completed status from any active or inactive user.
- courses in progress: are all the courses that learners have been assigned to and have clicked “start”.
- training time: is the total time spent in active courses from both active and inactive users.
4. Click a user to go to the user page.
On the micro-stats bar, if the gamification engine is on, you can see the courses the user has in progress, and those that the user hasn’t completed yet. Also, the user’s total Badges, Points and Levels.
Note: If the gamification engine isn’t on, the options that the micro-stats bar will provide are the number of courses in progress, the number of completed courses, the number of courses the user has not started, training time and badges. |
Go to Home > Reports to explore more micro-stats, this time from Course reports:
1. On the right-hand panel, click Course reports.
2. On this page you can see the micro-stats for your courses:
- courses: this tab shows the number of all registered courses (both with active and inactive status).
- assigned learners: refers to the total number of user assignments to any active or inactive course.
- completed learners: are all learners with completed status for any active or inactive course.
- learners in progress: are all learners that have been assigned to a course and clicked “start”.
- training time: is the total time spent in active or inactive courses from active users.
3. Click on a course.
On the micro-stats bar, you can see the total learners assigned to that course, the total learners that have completed it, the total learners that are still in progress, the number of instructors assigned to the course, and the tests average score.
Note: If the course doesn’t have a test yet, instead of the tests average score, the micro-stats bar will show the training time. |
The micro-stats bar for Branch reports shows the total number of branches of the site, how many users and courses are assigned to them, the completed courses, and those that are still in progress.
The micro-stats bar for Group reports shows the total number of groups of the site, how many users and courses are assigned to them, the completed courses, and those that are still in progress.
The micro-stats bar for SCORM reports shows how many such units have been created in the portal, how many times users have tried to complete a SCORM, how many users have passed the unit, their average score, and when was the last activity.
The micro-stats bar for Test reports shows how many such units have been created in the portal, how many times users have tried to complete a test, how many users have passed the unit, their average score and when was the last activity.
The micro-stats bar for Survey reports shows how many such units have been created in the portal, how many initiations have taken place, how many users have completed the survey, their average duration and when was the last activity.
The micro-stats bar for Assignment reports shows how many such units have been created in the portal, how many submissions an assignment has received, how many users have passed the unit, their average grade and when was the last activity.
B. As an Instructor
1. Sign in to your TalentLMS account as Instructor.
2. Go to a course page.
3. On the right-hand panel, click Reports.
On the micro-stats bar, you can see the total learners assigned to that course, the total learners that have completed it, the total learners that are still in progress, the number of instructors assigned to the course, and the total training time spent on it by your learners.
4. Click completed learners or learners in progress to see the respective percentage on the donut chart.
