To communicate with people across your portal, TalentLMS lets you send direct messages. To send a message to all learners that have registered to an Instructor-Led Training (ILT) session, you have two options.

A. From the Edit ILT Unit page
1. Sign in to your TalentLMS account as Instructor and go to the course with the ILT unit that you want to use and click edit (1)
2. On the calendar/list (2) switch, click the list symbol to change from calendar to list view.
3. Hover over Options and click the message icon (3).
4. On the dialog box that pops up you can:
- Type a Subject (4) for your message.
- In the Body (5) text area, type your message. If needed, you can also add images (6) or attach an external file (7) to your message.
- Click Send message (8).
All registered session users (9) will receive a direct message in their TalentLMS Messages inbox (10). They will also receive a copy of the message in their email.
B. From the ILT Session Users page
1. Sign in to your TalentLMS account as Instructor, go to the course with the ILT event and click Users (1).
2. Go to Mass grade users and, from the drop-down list, choose Message users (2).
3. On the dialog box that pops up you can again:
- Type a Subject (3) for your message.
- In the Body (4) text area, type your message. If needed, you can also add images (5) or attach external files (6) to your message.
- Click Send message (7).
All registered session users (8) will receive a direct message in their TalentLMS Messages inbox (9). They will also receive a copy of the message in their email.
