How to send a message to all registered ILT session users

With TalentLMS, you can easily communicate with users through direct messages. But what if you need to notify all learners enrolled in an Instructor-Led Training (ILT) session within a course?

Here are three ways to do it:

A. From the Edit ILT Unit page
B. Using the List icon in the ILT unit
C. Through the Grading Hub

A. From the Edit ILT Unit page

1. Sign in as an Instructor and open the course that includes the ILT unit. Click the ILT unit, then go to the Manage Users (1) tab. Group 7226.png

2. In the drawer, open the Users tab, hover over a user, and check the box (2) next to their name. Repeat for all users you want to message.
3. Click Mass Actions (3), then select Message (4) from the drop-down menu.

4. In the drawer that opens:

Enter a Subject (5).
Type your message in the Body (6).
Optionally, add images (7) or attach an external file (8).
Click Send (9).

Group 7267.png B. From the ILT Session Users page

1. Sign in as an Instructor and open the course that includes the ILT unit.

2. Click the List icon (1) that appears in the ILT unit.

3. In the drawer that opens, go to the Users tab, hover over a user, and check the box (2) next to their name. Repeat for all users you want to message.

4. Click Mass Actions (3), then select Message (4) from the drop-down menu.

5. In the drawer that opens:

Enter a Subject (5).
Type your message in the Body (6).
Optionally, add images (7) or attach an external file (8).
Click Send (9).

C. Through the Grading Hub

1. Sign in as an Instructor, then go to the Grading Hub (1).

2. Click ILT session (2) to see all registered users, whether they need grading or have already been graded.

3. Hover over a user and check the box (3) next to their name. Repeat for all users you want to message.

4. Click Mass Actions (4), then select Message (5) from the drop-down menu.

5. In the drawer that opens:

Enter a Subject (6).
Type your message in the Body (7).
Optionally, add images (8) or attach an external file (9).
Click Send (10).

Note :

Sort users by clicking any column. For example, clicking Course (1) groups results by course.
Filter users by clicking the filter icon (2) next to the search bar and selecting a status (Pending, Passed, Not Passed).
