TalentLMS now partially conforms to WCAG 2.2 Level AA. This upgrade keeps every success criterion from WCAG 2.0 and adds nine new ones compared to WCAG 2.1, so we:
- follow the latest guidance of the W3C’s Web Accessibility Initiative (WAI)
- meet and in several areas exceed the technical requirements referenced by Section 508 of U.S. federal law (which formally points to WCAG 2.0)
- offer stronger evidence of ADA (Americans with Disabilities Act) readiness, the standard most courts and regulators use when assessing digital accessibility
Therefore, TalentLMS aligns more fully with WAI, ADA, and Section 508 expectations than it did under WCAG 2.0. Remember, though, that full compliance also depends on the accessibility of the content uploaded.
Is TalentLMS WCAG 2.2 Level AA compliant?
Yes, as independent auditors reviewed the new interface, all critical and major findings were fixed, and a follow‑up audit validated our current conformance.
Which parts of the platform were tested?
The assessment covered the standard Administrator, Instructor, and Learner views (dashboards, course catalog, course player, user profiles, reports, etc.). It did not include course units or third-party content.
