The Waffle button lets you quickly move between connected TalentLMS products from one place. It appears as a nine-dot icon in the top-right corner of your portal header. When you click it, a product menu opens showing the TalentLMS products available to you, such as TalentLMS, TalentCards, and TalentHR.

What is the Waffle button?

The Waffle button is a cross-product navigation menu that helps users move between TalentLMS products without having to manually search for another portal or sign in again.

In connected portals, it shows the products your account can access. The product you are currently using is highlighted, while other available products appear as selectable options.

When does the Waffle button appear?

The Waffle button appears depending on your role and whether your products are connected.

• Account Owners can always see the Waffle button, even if products are not connected yet.
• Administrators, Instructors, and Learners can see the Waffle button only after user synchronization between connected products has been completed successfully.

How to switch from TalentLMS to TalentCards

To switch from TalentLMS to TalentCards:

1. Sign in to TalentLMS.
2. Click the Waffle button (1) in the top-right corner.
3. Select TalentCards (2).

TalentCards opens in a new browser window.Where you land depends on your role in TalentCards:

• If you are a TalentCards Account Owner or Administrator, you land in the TalentCards admin environment.
• If you are a TalentCards Learner, you land on a TalentCards learner page with your unique QR code. You can scan the QR code with your mobile device to access TalentCards.

How to switch from TalentCards to TalentLMS

To switch from TalentCards to TalentLMS:

1. Sign in to TalentCards.
2. Click the Waffle button (1)  in the top-right corner.
3. Select TalentLMS (2).

TalentLMS opens in a new browser window. Where you land depends on your role in TalentLMS. For example:

• If you are an Administrator in TalentLMS, you land in the TalentLMS admin environment.
• If you are a Learner in TalentLMS, you land in the learner experience.

What happens if your role is different in each product?

Your role in one product does not change your role in the other.

For example, if you are an Administrator in TalentLMS but a Learner in TalentCards, selecting TalentCards from the Waffle button redirects you to TalentCards with learner-level access.

Similarly, if you are an Administrator in TalentCards but a Learner in TalentLMS, selecting TalentLMS redirects you to TalentLMS with learner-level access.

The Waffle button helps you move between products, but each product still applies its own roles and permissions.

What if your products are not connected?

If your TalentLMS portal is not connected to another TalentLMS product yet, Account Owners can still use the Waffle button to discover other products.

When the Account Owner hovers over the Waffle button, it shows See more by TalentLMS. Clicking on it, opens a pop-up with available TalentLMS products they can explore.

From this pop-up, Account Owners can:

• Select Try it for free under TalentCards to open the TalentCards sign-up flow and create a TalentCards account.
• Select Try it for free under TalentHR to open the TalentHR sign-up flow and create a TalentHR account.
• Learn about TalentLibrary™ if it’s not currently included in the subscription. The Waffle menu will suggest TalentLibrary™ with a link to the website page.
• Select Get bundled pricing to request bundled pricing for using TalentLMS together with TalentCards, TalentHR, or both.
