In TalentLMS, you can exclude users from receiving non-essential email notifications. To save time and effort, you can do this for multiple users at once using the Import function.
Steps to exclude multiple users from emails
1. Sign in to your TalentLMS account as an Administrator, then go to Account & Settings > Import-Export (1).
2. Prepare a file in .xls, .xlsx, or .csv format (up to 1MB) containing the necessary import information. Keep the following in mind:
- The first column must be Login, which is the user's username.
- The second column should be Exclude-from-emails. This attribute is case-sensitive, so enter YES to exclude users from emails.
Note: You can download a sample Excel document from the bottom of this article. Remove the dummy entry and add your user data before saving the file locally. |
3. Click Select a file to upload (2) or drag and drop your Excel or CSV file into the import area.
Note: There is no maximum number of lines for your import file. However, for easier troubleshooting in case of errors, it is recommended to divide large imports into batches of up to 250 lines. |
Once the process is complete, a side drawer will open, showing the results (3).
