TalentLMS allows you to restrict portal registration to users with email accounts related to specific domains if necessary. Here’s how to configure your registration restrictions in TalentLMS:
A. Restrict registrations for your entire portal:
1. Sign in to your TalentLMS account as an Administrator, and from the left-side menu, go to Account & Settings (1) > Security (2).
2. In the Access Restrictions (3) section, go to Restrict registration to specific domains and select Disabled (4) to open the feature drawer.
3. Toggle the switch to Enable (5) the feature.
- To allow registrations to specific domains only, type (6) a comma-separated list of your preferred domains in the respective field (e.g., “domain.com”, “example.com”).
- To reject registrations from specific domains, type (6) a comma-separated list using the ~ symbol in front of each domain (e.g. "~example.com"
4. Click Apply (7) and Save (8) your settings.
B. Restrict registrations for a specific branch:
To configure registration restrictions for a specific branch in TalentLMS, follow these steps:
1. Sign in to your TalentLMS account as an Administrator, and from the left-side menu, go to
Branches (1) and click to edit (2) your desired branch.
2. In the Info tab, scroll down to the Users (3) section, go to Restrict registration to specific domains, and select Disabled (4) to open the feature drawer.
3. Toggle the switch to Enable (5) the feature.
- To allow registrations to specific domains only, type (6) a comma-separated list of your preferred domains in the respective field (e.g., “domain.com”, “example.com”).
- To reject registrations from specific domains, type (6) a comma-separated list using the ~ symbol in front of each domain (e.g. "~example.com"
4. Click Apply (7) and Save (8) your settings.
Note: You can either allow registrations from specific domains or prevent registrations from specific domains, but not both at the same time. |
