The course catalog is a collection of courses which your learners can use to pick their next learning activity.
To choose which courses will be available there, create an Active course and make sure it’s not hidden from the catalog (1).
Learners can access the Course Catalog from their dashboard (1):
From there, they can filter the courses based on their Category (2). Before enrolling in a course, they can click the course title (3) to see more information about it, as well as its full description. To enroll in the course from the catalog, learners need to click Get this course (4).
Note: You can also make the Course Catalog available to non-registered users, who can access it from your Homepage. |
You can create a different Course Catalog per Branch. To do this, log in as an Administrator, click on Branches, open a Branch, move to the courses tab, and start selecting courses (1).
You can use the same course in more than one Branch if you wish. Any changes you make to the course on a branch level will be reflected across the portal.
Alternatively, you can create courses directly while logged in via the branch URL and these will be visible to the Branch Course Catalog and the catalog of the main site.
Note: If you wish courses that you create directly in the Branch to not be visible on the catalog of the main site, see this article. |
To hide the Course catalog completely from the Learners and not allow them to visit it at all, you can edit the learner’s permissions and deselect Course Catalog (1) from their role.
