2. Under the Course settings section, enable Allow sharing certifications on LinkedIn (2).
3. Click Save (3) to update your settings.
Sharing a certificate on LinkedIn
When a user completes their course and is awarded a certificate of completion, they can click Share certificate on LinkedIn (1) from the finish screen of their course, to share their certificate on their LinkedIn profile.
They will then be redirected to LinkedIn’s sign in page. The user needs to login with their LinkedIn credentials.
Once logged in, the user will be redirected to Add license or certification (2) within their LinkedIn account. The following fields will be filled in automatically:
- Name: The name of the TalentLMS course that the certificate was issued for.
- Issuing organization: The site name of your TalentLMS portal.
- Issue date: The date of completion for the course in question.
- Expiration date: The certificate’s expiration date, if any.
Alternatively, Learners are also able to share their certificates on LinkedIn at any time, by navigating to the My progress page (1) of their profile.
Under the Certificates tab (2), all of their certificates will be available to share on LinkedIn (3).
