Sometimes, your courses may change in different ways. TalentLMS lets you update issued certificates to reflect new changes.
If there's a change (e.g. in terms of the certification's duration, the course's or user's name, or the course's assigned Instructor), users who completed the course prior to the change may need their certificates updated.
| Note: If a user’s certificate is considered expired according to your new settings and you update it following the steps below, it will be revoked. |
Here's how to synchronize users with your changes:
1. Sign in to your TalentLMS account as an Administrator or an Instructor and open a course from the Courses menu. You’ll be redirected to the Users tab (1) of the course.
2. Hover over any user who has completed the course and click Preview certificate (2).
3. In the following dialog box, you can see this user’s current certificate. Click Update (3) to update the current certificate (for this user only), or click the drop-down symbol next to it and choose Update all certificates for this course (4).
