TalentCraft lets you create talking-head avatar videos directly inside your TalentCraft units. You can pick a preset avatar, write or generate a script, and produce a lip-synced video with AI voiceover,  all without leaving the editor.

To create an AI avatar video in TalentCraft

1. Sign in to your TalentLMS account as an Administrator or Instructor. Open an existing course or create a new one, then add or edit a TalentCraft unit. If you're creating a new unit, select Start from scratch (1).



2. On the toolbar, click the AI (2) icon and select Create an avatar video… (3).



3. Enter your script. You have two options:

• Type or paste your script: Enter your own script exactly as you want it spoken.
• Write a script from my content: AI uses the other content in your course to automatically write a spoken script for you.

Once you've entered or generated your script, click Continue (4) to proceed.



4. Choose a preset avatar (5). Select the avatar you want to deliver your script. Each preset avatar comes with a predefined voice and presentation style. Available avatars include:

• Daniel – Professional
• Jamie – Casual
• Ryan – Conversational
• Leo – Casual
• Alex – Professional
• Eden – Casual
• Sofia – Casual

Choose the option that best fits the tone of your content, then click Generate (6) to create the video.

Create AI avatar video permission

Administrators can control who can create AI avatar videos through the relevant permission.

To enable or disable this permission, go to Account & Settings > User Types, edit the user type you want to customize, and navigate to Instructor permissions > AI > Units > TalentCraft. Then, select or clear the Create Avatar video from AI prompts (7) checkbox and click Save.



AI credits usage

AI avatar videos use AI credits from the shared TalentCraft credit balance, the same balance used for AI-generated text, quizzes, images, and videos.
Avatar video generation uses 2 credits per second, based on the selected clip length. For example:
