The TalentLMS Course Store is a built-in storefront where you can purchase professional eLearning courses.

To shop for courses from external providers:

1. Sign in to your TalentLMS account as an Administrator, and go to the Course Store (1).

2. Select Other providers (2). From this page, you can browse an extensive collection of top-quality courses built by professional course providers.

Courses are available in a wide range of categories, including Business Skills, Human Resources, Personal Development, and many more.

To find courses to add to your Course Catalog, you have the following options:

1. Use the search tool

You can quickly search for courses using the search tool (1). Enter words related to the course and/or subject into the search tool.   

2. Use the available filters

Click Rating (2).

You can sort the order of the courses based on the following criteria:

• Rating: courses will show up according to the number of stars they've gained through voting (in descending order).
• Name: the list will be sorted in alphabetical order.
• Date: the most recently added courses will be at the top of the list.
• Price: courses will be sorted from highest to lowest price.

3. Search by Category

You can search courses by category (3). Select a category from the left side of your screen to view all the courses assigned to that category. Next to each category title you can quickly view the number of courses developed and assigned to it. 

4. Search by Provider

Expand your curriculum with professionally created courses from our content providers (4), including Vado, Bigger Brains, and more.

The majority of our vendors provide courses to clients using SCORM 1.2, the de facto standard of eLearning for a better-quality course.

5. Search by Provider and Category

You can search courses efficiently by combining the category (5) and providers (6) filters. 

You can easily reset your filters with one click. 

Buy licenses 

The number of licenses you purchase corresponds to the number of times you can assign the purchased course to a different Learner. Licenses aren’t used when you assign Instructors to the course.

1. Select the course you wish to purchase licenses for.

2. On the course overview page, click the Buy licenses button (1). 

3. A drawer will open on the right side of your screen. Type the number of Licenses you want to purchase (2). You’ll see a calculation of the price for the number of licenses you chose, minus any bulk discount that may apply. 

4. Click Buy Licenses (4) to continue. You’ll be safely redirected to Stripe to complete your payment.

5. Enter your credit card information (Card number, Expiration date, CVC, Cardholder’s Name) as well as your Country or region in the relevant fields and click Pay (5) to complete your purchase.

The course is now added to your list of courses.

Managing courses purchased from the Course Store

Once you acquire a course from a third-party provider, you’ll be able to find it under the Courses menu of your portal, alongside the rest of your course offerings. You can edit the course description, change the course image, and add new content.

How licenses work

Purchased courses will have a numerical indication for the number of Licenses you own. 

When you assign the course to a Learner, one of your licenses is Reserved, and the number of remaining licenses decreases by one. 

• When the Learner successfully completes or fails a course, that license is Consumed and can’t be reused. 
• On the other hand, if the Learner doesn’t complete the course and you eventually unenroll them from it, that license is added back to your available licenses and can be reused.
