To save you time and effort, TalentLMS lets you perform a series of actions on multiple users at once.
Here’s how to update users en masse in a few steps:
1. Sign in to your TalentLMS account as an Administrator and go to Users (1).
2. Point to a user and click the checkbox next to their name. Repeat for each user until you've selected all the users you want to update.
Note: To select multiple users at once, point to the columns bar and click the checkbox next to the User column (2). Currently, the limit of users that can be selected using the checkboxes to perform mass actions to, is 160. |
3. Click Mass actions (3) and, from the drop-down list, choose one of the available actions:
- Activate: Change the selected users' status to "Active".
- Deactivate: Change the selected users' status to "Inactive".
- Delete: Remove the selected users from the system.
- Add to branch: Add the selected users to a branch.
- Remove from branch: Remove the selected users from a branch.
- Add to group: Add the selected users to a group.
- Remove from group: Remove the selected users from a group.
- Send message: Send a message to the selected users.
Note: By clicking on the Filter symbol (4), you can refine the user list to display only active or inactive users, or those belonging to a branch or group. |
Here’s how to perform a bulk update on users enrolled in a course:
1. Sign in to your TalentLMS account as an Administrator or an Instructor. Navigate to Courses (1), and open the page of the course you wish to update.
2. In the Users tab, hover over a user and click on the box (2) next to their name. Do this for all the users you want to update.
3. Click on Mass Actions (3) and select one of the available options from the drop-down menu.
- Unenroll: Remove all selected users from the course.
- Reset Progress: Clear the progress for the selected users in the course.
- Message: Send a message to the chosen users.
