To help you quickly find what you’re looking for, TalentLMS has filters you can use to search your account.
A) Filtering users
1. Sign in to your TalentLMS account as an Administrator and go to Users (1).
2. Next to the search bar, click the filter icon (2) and select the way you want to filter users: by Status, Branch, or Group. You can also combine filters by using Status and Branch/Group.
3. You can now see a list of filtered users and, at the top right, a tag indicating the filter applied. To remove the filter and return to the list of all users, hover over the filter tag and click x (3).
Here’s how you can use filters to mass-enroll a selected list of users into a course:
1. Log in as an Administrator, go to Courses, and click on the desired course. On its Users tab, click on Enroll to course (1).
2. Click the filter icon (2) to pick the filters you’d like to apply by Branch or Group.
3. Hover your mouse over User (3) and tick the box to select the users for course enrollment. Feel free to unselect users as needed, to keep only those you want.
Note: At the bottom, you’ll find the current page of results you’re on. You can also select how many results to display per page (4). |
4. When all the desired users are selected, click Mass actions (5) and from the drop-down menu choose Enroll.

B) Filtering courses
1. Sign in to your TalentLMS account as Administrator or Instructor and go to Courses (1).
2. Next to the search bar, click on the filter icon (2) and select how you’d like to filter the courses.
Note: Administrators can filter based on Status, Branch, or Group, and they have the option to combine these filters using Status and Branch/Group. Instructors are limited to filtering by Status or Group, though they can also combine those filters. |
3. You can now see a list of filtered courses and, at the top, a tag indicating the filter applied. To remove the filter and return to the list of all courses, hover over the filter tag and click x (3).
Note: Administrators can also filter users in a specific course. Click on the course, go to its Users tab (4) and apply the filters (5) you need. |
C) Filtering reports
1. Sign in to your TalentLMS account as an Administrator or Instructor, go to Reports (1) and choose the report type you’d like to see (eg: Course reports) (2).
2. Next to the search bar, click the filter icon (3) and choose how you want to filter the reports.
3. You can now see a list of filtered reports and, at the top, a tag indicating the filter applied. To remove the filter and return to the list of all reports, hover over the filter tag and click x (4).
Note: The same filters also apply within Branches. The groups visible in the filter options (users, courses, reports) within each branch are only those that are associated directly with that branch. Administrators and Instructors who wish to filter users by Group AND Branch at the same time need to log into the relevant Branch and filter by Group from there. |
