To control the number of your active users and stay within the limits of your subscription plan, TalentLMS lets you schedule multiple user deactivation with a single action.
Note: To deactivate a single user on a specific date, see this article. |
Here’s how to schedule user deactivation en masse in a few steps:
1. Sign in to your TalentLMS account as an Administrator and go to Account & Settings > Import-Export (1).
2. Browse your files to locate and select the import file, or drag and drop the file into the upload area (2). Supported file types are: XLS, XLSX, and CSV, and the maximum file size is 1MB.
- When adding new users with a deactivation date, ensure your document includes the following columns: Login, Firstname, Lastname, Email, and Deactivation-date. Fill in the details for the users: their username, first name, last name, email address, and the desired deactivation date.
- When updating existing users with a deactivation date, use only the columns Login and Deactivation-date.
Note: Make sure Login is always your first column and that the Deactivation-date is in the same format as configured for your portal (e.g., DD/MM/YYYY). For guidance, refer to our sample Excel document (click Download sample excel file (3)). |
3. Once the file is uploaded and the import process is complete, you will see the Import results (4).
Note: You can also schedule multiple user deactivations by using an API call. |
