To make your video content more accessible, TalentLMS offers an AI Captions feature that automatically generates captions for your videos. Follow the steps below to enable AI-generated captions and enhance the learning experience for all users.

To generate AI captions for your videos, follow these steps:
1. Sign in to your TalentLMS account as an Instructor (1).
2. Go to Courses (2), hover over the course you wish to update and click Edit (3).
| Note: You’re also able to edit courses as an Administrator, but you have to be assigned as an Instructor to the courses you wish to edit, otherwise the Edit option won’t show up. |
3. The course editor page will open. Click the video unit (4) you want to add captions to.
4. At the top left of the video player, click Generate captions (5).
The system will use AI to process the video and generate captions.
Alternatively, click the three-dot icon next to the video unit and choose Unit options (6).
A drawer will open at the right-hand side of your screen. Enable Show captions (7) and click Generate captions (8).
Once your AI captions are generated, click Save (9).
An AI captions (10) indicator will appear at the top left of the video, to show that your video utilizes AI-generated captions.
