For a better Learner experience, TalentLMS gives you the option to upload a poster image as a video thumbnail for video units you’ve uploaded to the platform.
To add a poster image (thumbnail) to your video:
1. Sign in to your TalentLMS account as an Instructor, go to the page of the course you want to update, and click Edit course. The course editor page will open.
2. Click the three-dot icon to open the menu next to the video unit you need to add a thumbnail to and choose Unit options (1).
3. Enable the Use a poster image (2) option.
4. Select a file to upload or drag and drop it into the designated area (3).
5. Click Save, and your thumbnail will show up when learners start the video unit.
| Note: If you already have uploaded image files in your course, they will be available in the drop-down menu to be used as poster images as well. |
