TalentLMS lets you embed content from external resources directly into your courses, and Learners can view it without leaving the portal.
Here’s how to do it in a few steps:
1. Sign in to your TalentLMS account as an Instructor, go to Courses and click on the course you want to update, then click Edit course. You will be redirected to the course editor page.
Note: You can also do this as an Administrator, as long as you are enrolled in the course with the Instructor role. |
2. Click Add (1), select Standard Content (2) from the list, and then choose iFrame (3).
3. In the Web address (URL) (4) field, paste the URL of the content you want to import.
4. Once the page has loaded, enter a name for your unit, click on the three-dot (5) button and click Publish unit (6) to add it to the course content.
Note: The web address (URL) you embed should always be public and secure (a non-secure website begins with HTTP). In most instances, websites that start with HTTPS can be embedded as iFrames. |
If the original website's settings don’t allow its pages to be embedded or isn’t secure, open the Unit options (7) drawer from the three-dot button next to the unit and choose Show as Pop-up (8) instead. Click Save (9) to apply the change. Learners can then view the website content in a pop-up window by clicking the Open button.
