To enhance user experience, TalentLMS allows you and your users to adjust the playback speed of videos that you upload to TalentLMS as course content.
To activate the playback speed handler:
1. Sign in to your TalentLMS account as an Instructor, go to Courses, and click the Edit (1) button next to the course you want to upload your video to. The course editor page will open.
| Note: You can also do this as an Administrator, as long as you are enrolled in the course with the Instructor role. |
2. Click the Add (2) button, then choose Standard content (3) from the drop-down menu and click to add a Video (4) unit.
3. Choose to Upload a file (5) or Record a video (6). The playback speed handler can only be used with these two options.
4. Click the three-dot (7) icon next to the video unit, and from the drop-down list, select Unit options (8).
5. A drawer will open on the right-hand side of your screen. Select the Show playback speed (9) option from the Video options menu and click Save (10).
Now, when viewing your video, at the bottom right corner, click the More options (1) and select Playback speed.
This will bring up the Speed indicator (2) to change the playback speed as needed.
