TalentLMS helps you add captions to the videos uploaded to your TalentLMS portal and make them accessible to a larger audience.
Here's how to upload your own captions, in a few simple steps:
1. Sign in to your TalentLMS account as an Instructor (1).
2. Go to Courses (2), hover over the course with the video you wish to update and click Edit (3).
| Note: You’re also able to edit courses as an Administrator, but you have to be assigned as an Instructor to the courses you wish to edit, otherwise the Edit option won’t show up. |
3. The course editor page will open. Click the three-dot icon next to the video unit you wish to add captions to and choose Unit options (4).
4. A drawer will open at the right-hand side of your screen. Enable Show captions (5).
5. Select a file for upload, or drag and drop it into the designated area (6).
| Note: You can upload .srt and .vtt files, up to 2 MB in size per file. |
6. Once your captions are uploaded, click Save (7).
