TalentLMS lets you edit and reorder widgets in both the Administrator and Instructor views, allowing you to personalize your main page and efficiently track your portal’s data. You can choose the most relevant widgets based on your needs, adding or removing them as required.
To edit and re-order the widgets:
1. Log in to your TalentLMS account as an Administrator or Instructor.
2. On your main page, click Customize (1), then select Edit mode (2).
3. Drag and drop the widgets (3) to place them in your preferred order. Click Edit (4) or Remove (5) on a widget to modify or remove it from your view.
4. Click Save (6) to apply your changes.
To add or remove a widget:
1. Log in to your TalentLMS account as an Administrator or Instructor.
2. Click Customize (1), then select Add widget (2).
3. Click on a widget (3) to add or remove it from your Home view. Widgets highlighted in blue are active, while those in white have been removed.
4. Click Update (4) to save your changes.
Available widgets
Administrators and Instructors have control over their dashboard widgets.
A. As an Administrator
Administrators can add and customize the following widgets:

Overview: Displays general information about the portal, such as the number of active users, assigned courses, and more. You can select up to five statistics from:
- Active users
- Assigned courses
- Groups
- Training time
- Completion rate
- Training savings
- Environment impact
- Participation
- Engagement
- Progress

Quick Actions: Frequently used actions that can be added as shortcuts. You can select up to five from:
- Add user
- Add course
- Portal settings

Courses’ progress status: Provides a quick overview of users’ progress in courses. It can be displayed as:
- A half donut chart
- A bars chart

Portal activity: The Portal activity widget includes a quick demonstration of the user logins and course completions. It can be customized to show by default the data of the current day, of the day before, of the week, or of the month. It can also be displayed as:
- A bars chart
- A lines chart

Timeline: shows a brief overview of the latest Timeline events.

Users: Displays the number of Administrators, Instructors, and Learners in the portal. It can be displayed as:
- A donut chart
- A bars chart

B. As an Instructor
Instructors can add and customize the following widgets:

Overview: Displays key training statistics. You can choose up to five from:
- Courses
- Assigned learners
- Completion rate
- Training time

Recent course activity: Displays recently edited courses.

Quick actions: Frequently used actions that can be added as shortcuts. You can choose up to five from:
- Add course
- Add group
- Add conference
- Add discussion

Don’t miss: Highlights key tasks such as:
- Assignments pending to be graded
- Courses that are expiring soon
- The number of sessions you are registered to attend on the same day or month
- Your discussion posts with recent replies
- New discussion threads that have started within the week

Today: Displays ILT sessions and conferences scheduled for the day.

Courses’ progress status: Provides a quick overview of course progress, displayed as:
- A half donut chart
- A bars chart
- Courses’ completion rate: With this widget, you can have an overview of the courses with the Highest or Lowest completion rates.
