TalentLMS allows your Learners to work with several engaging learning activities, such as Tests, Assignments, and SCORMs, participate in ILTs, and take Surveys. These are all viewable under the Learning Activities tab. For Instructors, TalentLMS allows the option to quickly complete or reset the users’ progress in such an activity.
Here’s how to do this:
1. As an Instructor, go to Reports (1) and click on Learning activities (2).
2. Locate the learning activity you would like to mass update user progress for and click (3) on it. Remember that only Learning activities from courses you are enrolled in as an Instructor will show up.
3. Click on the Users (4) tab.
4. You can click on the checkbox (5) next to User to select all users on the screen, or click on the checkboxes (6) next to the individual users you’d like to select.
Note: To show more users, increase the number of users per page at the bottom of the list. You can select up to 160 users this way. |
5. A Mass action (7) button will appear, indicating the number of selected users next to that.
6. Click on Mass actions, and two options will appear: Complete and Reset (8).
- Complete: This will mark the whole unit as completed, and Learners will no longer have to take it. A score of 100% will be awarded, and no training time will be recorded for this unit. They will also be able to advance to the next unit if the course is set to be completed sequentially.
- Reset: This will clear the users’ progress in the unit. If they have already completed it before, their progress will be reset and lost. You will not be able to recover it, so be sure this is intended.
7. A modal will appear, asking you to confirm the action and let you know how many users will be affected. Click Complete/Reset (9) to confirm the action.
