Learners who are enrolled in many courses or learning paths may find it difficult to quickly locate the ones they access most often. The Favorites feature in TalentLMS helps simplify navigation by allowing learners to mark specific courses or learning paths as favorites. This makes it easier to keep important learning content organized and accessible in one place, without relying on browser bookmarks or manual workarounds.
| Note: The Favorite course feature is not available on the Legacy interface. Follow the steps in this article to have users land directly on the My training page after logging in, instead of the standard dashboard. |
How Learners can mark their courses as favorites:
1. Sign in to your TalentLMS account as a Learner.
2. Head to My training (1) (or Home if the simple dashboard is enabled)
1. Click on the Add to Favorites (2) button on your favorite courses and Learning paths.
How Learners can view and filter their favorite courses:
Favorites view: This option lets users see only their favorite courses. You can also combine this with the Category view to group your favorite courses under their respective categories.
The Category view (1) and the Favorites view (2) options can be combined with each other, as well as with any of the following status filters (3) under the View menu:
- All: Displays all courses a Learner is enrolled in, regardless of their progress or expiration status.
- In progress: Shows courses currently in progress that are neither completed nor failed.
- Completed: Displays courses the user has completed.
- Expired: Shows courses with a time limit that has passed.
- Not passed: Displays courses the user has not successfully passed.
