TalentLMS lets you generate reports and view information related to SCORM 1.2 content, as long as the package uses SCORM interactions to send data to the LMS (a capability supported by most major authoring tools, such as Articulate Storyline, Adobe Captivate, iSpring, and Lectora).
Please note that there are some limitations to the data that can be reported, due to the SCORM 1.2 specification:
- The question text is not displayed, only the question number (e.g., “Question 1” instead of “What is your favorite color?”).
- The report includes only the answers submitted by users, not all available answer choices (e.g., if the possible answers are “red,” “green,” and “blue,” and all users select “red,” the report will not display “green” or “blue”).
To see the whole process in action, follow these steps:
1. Sign in to your TalentLMS account as an Instructor and import a SCORM 1.2 object to a course.
2. Sign in as a Learner assigned to the course, and complete the SCORM 1.2 content.
3. Then, sign in as an Administrator again, and navigate to Reports (1).
4. Click Learning Activities (2).
5. Select and open a SCORM report (3).
6. Switch to the Analysis (4) tab.
