If you allow users to retake a test multiple times, TalentLMS lets you view their previous attempts.
To allow multiple attempts for a test:
1. Sign in as an Instructor, go to Courses (1), and click Edit (2) on the course that contains the test.
2. In the test unit, click the three dots (⋮) icon (3) and select Test options (4).
3. Under Repetitions, select either Allow repetitions if not passed or Always (5).
4. If needed, enable Maximum number of attempts (6) and enter the number of attempts allowed (7).
5. Click Save (8).
Note: You can also set a delay between attempts by selecting Control delay between attempts and entering the time in minutes (9). |
To view a user’s test attempts through the Learning activities report:
1. Log in as an Administrator or Instructor and go to Reports (1) > Learning activities (2).2. Find the test you’ve allowed repetitions for and click Preview (3). You can filter results to show only tests or type the test name in the search bar (4).
3. Click the Users (5) tab, select a user, and click View attempt (6).
4. A drawer will open with a drop-down list of attempts (7). Select the attempt you want to review.

To view a user’s attempts through the dedicated course report:
1. As an Administrator or Instructor, go to Reports > Courses (1).
2. Select the course that contains the test and click Learning activities (2).
3. Choose the test (3) you want to review.
