Cloning helps you save time by creating an exact copy of your existing content. TalentLMS allows you to clone your course and have it automatically translated by AI to your preferred language.

To automatically clone and translate your course:
1. Sign in to your TalentLMS account as an Administrator or Instructor and go to Courses (1).
2. Click on the Clone and translate with AI (2) option next to the course you would like to translate.
3. Select the Language (3) from the drop-down and your preferred Tone of voice (4) from the available options:
- Original: Preserves the original tone of voice of the course.
- Academic: Uses a formal tone focused on precision and structured expression.
- Simple: Presents information in a clear and straightforward way.
- Creative: Uses a lively, expressive tone to promote engagement.
4. Click Clone and Translate (5) to start the process.
Alternatively:
1. Go to Courses (1) and click on the course (2) you would like to view.
2. Click Edit course (3).
3. Click on Course options (4) and select Clone and translate with AI (5).
4. Select the Language (6) from the drop-down and your preferred Tone of voice (7) from the available options (Original, Academic, Simple, or Creative).
5. Click Clone and Translate (8) to start the process.
| Note: While the process is underway, you can navigate away from the course to continue your work on another one. If you add more units in the same course that you cloned and translated, while the course creation is still in progress, they will not be transferred or translated to the new course. |

The course is now cloned, and the clone is added to your course list. It's automatically named after the original course, followed by the language indicator in the course code (e.g., -fr for French translations).
The cloned course is a translated replica of the original, and it includes all of the original’s settings and units. From now on, the cloned course can be customized and managed as a completely separate course.
