TalentLMS provides you with useful information about your learners’ activity, including the total time your users have spent on completing their units.
Here’s how to find out how much time a user has spent on each course unit:
A. From the User Reports
- Sign in to your TalentLMS portal as Administrator and go to Reports (1) > Users (2).
- Click on the user whose report you want to check.
- Go to the Courses (3) tab.
- On the far right of the page, click Change units’ progress (arrow icon) (4).
In the dialog box that pops up, you can see all the course units. The units that have been completed by the user are labeled with a green affirmative symbol (5). You can also see which unit the user accessed last under the Last accessed (6) label. The units that haven’t been attempted by the user will show as Not attempted (7).
- The time a user has spent on a unit is shown under the Time (8) section of each unit.
B. From the Course Reports
| Note: This option is available to both Administrators and course Instructors. |
- Return to Home > Reports, and go to Courses (1).
- Pick a Course (2) and go to the Users (3) tab.
- Select a user, and on the far right of the page, select Change units’ progress (arrow icon) (4).
In the dialog box that pops up, you can see all the course units. The units that have been completed by the user are labeled with a green affirmative symbol. You can also see which unit the user accessed last under the Last accessed label. The units that haven’t been attempted by the user will show as Not attempted.
- The time a user has spent on a unit is shown under the Time (5) section of each unit.
| Note: There might be cases where a unit will appear completed without any captured time. This means the unit was marked as completed manually by an Instructor or Administrator. You can manually mark individual units as completed through either User or Course Reports. Click here for more info. |
