TalentLMS lets you view and download test results as Excel files which you can then share digitally or print for physical distribution. This way, you can also keep local copies in case you’d like to reset the test for your Learners.
Here’s how:
1. Sign in to your TalentLMS account as Administrator or Instructor and go to Reports (1) > Learning activities (2).
2. You can use the Filter (3) option to narrow down the list to just test units.
Open the test unit (4) you’d like a report on.
3. Click Export in Excel (5) to download the report on your device.
4. Open the file and you’ll get:
a) An Overview of the test questions and how user answers are distributed.
b) Details on each user submission, including:
- The Names of the users who completed the test unit
- Their email addresses
- Their dates of completion
- The time each user spent completing the test
- Their scores
- Their test status (Passed/Not passed)
- The number of attempts per user
- Reporting on each test question for every user, marked as correct or incorrect depending on the user’s answers
|
Note: Test reports keep a maximum of 7 attempts per user. We keep the user’s:
Whenever a new attempt is made, the oldest archived attempt is deleted, so a total of 7 attempts are kept. When a test unit is manually completed for a user by the Instructor, a new attempt is created, with every answer set to correct. |
- A View submission (6) link, to see the user’s test submission in a web browser (no login to TalentLMS required).
d) A Timeline, tracking Learners’ actions in the test.
| Note: To find out how to mass complete or reset user progress in a learning activity, e.g., a test, see this article. |
